Designed with Experience
- Wayne Hanley, Leisure Time Eco Homes

Leisure Time Eco Homes have been developed by Wayne Hanley, as a result of more than 40 years' experience in the building industry.

With a background in plumbing, electrical and building trades, Wayne built over 100 homes for his clients in the 70s and 80s, developing a strong interest in the design and engineering of energy-efficient heating solutions. He now owns and manages Warm and Cool, focusing on efficient and alternative heating, including hot water systems for New Zealand homes. Among his creations is the SunFlow Eco House, currently heating 160m2 at an average weekly heating cost of just $14 (visit it online at www.warmandcool.co.nz).

The importance of good heating for health and wellbeing was a goal for Chatsford Retirement Village, of which Wayne was a joint founder and the project manager for over 20 years. Radiant heating was installed from day one in what has become one of New Zealand's largest and most successful retirement communities.

Through this experience, Wayne became aware that not all people want to live in a retirement village. As a result, Wayne is committed to establishing Leisure Time Eco Homes, enabling people to benefit from the highest standards of retirement living quality and energy efficiency, while living independent lives close to amenities. Leisure Time Eco Homes offer a higher quality, modern townhouse, designed with safety, health, strength and comfort in mind. We invite you to discover the difference for yourself.
